Abstract From the Canadian patent

A soil working device consisting of a scarifying chisel, a scarifying boot, bladeholder bars and cutting blades. The confronting angle of the bladeholder bars is smaller than the confronting angle of the scarifying chisel and this in turn is smaller than the elevation angle of the bladeholder bars, the latter being in the range of 40° to 50°. The bars are fixed to the boot with a negative angle with respect to the run line, in such a way that the end of the chisel and the ends of the bars are placed in the same horizontal plane. The cutting blades placed under the bars form sliding cutting planes with confronting angles and lengths of run decreasing away from the cutting area.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed July 23, 1991. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended July 23, 2011.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 23, 2013.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
