Abstract From the Canadian patent

Panel Offsets enable electricians to easily mount all panels 50mm off the panel board to abide by the new Ontario Electrical Code rule 6-207. These offsets may be bolted on all four corners of an electrical panel box. Then by screwing through the offset brackets to the panel board, the panel is strongly secure without coming in contact with the panel board.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed July 17, 1991. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended July 17, 2011.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 17, 2013.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
