Abstract From the Canadian patent

An air-dust separator is described in which the air current flows in a unidirectional fashion. The separator is made up of a separation chamber of circular-cross section where the cleaned air exits through a stack disposed at the same end as the dust exhaust. No particular device is necessary to reverse the air flow, and this separator can separate and collect particles of relatively large sizes from a mixture of air and dust.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed June 5, 1991. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended June 5, 2011.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 5, 2013.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
