A clip-on gasket having a U-shaped clip and a gasket attached to one or both of the arms of the clip. The clip is formed by a process wherein the metal blank from which the clip is formed, is notched such that one only needs to cut through one arm of the clip and the gasket in order to obtain a clip on gasket of desired length. 2639P/I-12
