In bottle packaging is it known to use cases with partitions for maintaining bottle control in the case. The present invention relates to a removable and reusable grid which fits in a bottle case. The grid is used primarily for bottle control in a case without partitions and is supported in the case by appendages either engaging the top of the sidewalls of the case or abutting the bottom of the case. The appendages may include clasps adapted to suspend the grid unit in the case and to secure top flaps of the case to the sides of the case.

Why it's free to use
- Filed May 13, 1991. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended May 13, 2011.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 13, 2013.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
