O.Z. 0050/41602, Abstract of the Disclosure: Herbicides contsining inert additives and a synergistic amount of one or more Nphenyl-3,4,5,6-tetrahydrophthalimides of the formula I (I), where R is H, F or Cl, R1 is H, Cl Br, CN or C1-C6-alkyl, and R2 is H or C1-C6-alkyl and one or more derivatives of, a substituted phenoxyalkanecarboxylic acid of the formula II, (II), where n is 1, 2 or 3, X is Cl or CH3 R3 is H or CH3, R4 is, OR5 or NR6R7, R5 is C1-C8-alkyl H, an alkali metal cation, one equivalent of an alkaline earth metal ion or an anunonium or substituted ammonium ion and R8 and R7 are each H or C1-C4-alkyl.
