Abstract From the Canadian patent

A versatile relaxing chair is provided and consists of two elongated U-shaped frame members oppositely intermingled with each other and held together in a stationary manner. A plurality of nylon cable strips with stationary plastic spheres extend across the long sides of the elongated U-shaped frame members so that a person can sit in the chair. Why it's free to use

  • Filed May 2, 1991. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended May 2, 2011.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 2, 2013.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
