Abstract From the Canadian patent

A heating device has an insert (10) with which water flowing, in through an inlet opening (6) is dampened before it flows down to an electrical heater (3). The heated water again flows into the upper part of the inner space (1e) of the heating device and along, a partition (1c), to the outlet (7) which is also arranged in the, upper area. This arrangement guarantees that uniformly warm water which can be fed to the shower arm of a bidet via a hose is, available for the longest possible time despite small overall height and compact design. 8:21728.1

Why it's free to use

  • Filed March 22, 1991. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended March 22, 2011.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 22, 2013.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
