A novel wound dressing is provided herein. It comprises a hydrophobic macroporous cloth having an oligopeptide e.g. a, hydrophobic polypeptide or a polymyxin preferably polymyxin B, hydrophobically and stably bound thereon and therein. Such dressing is ideal for removing LPS endotoxins.
