Abstract From the Canadian patent

Polymer blend compositions having an advantageous combination of low temperature toughness solvent resistance, scratch resistance paintability and, elevated temperature resistance comprise from 20 to 65 weight percent of a rubber modified monovinylidene aromatic/ethylenically unsaturated nitrile/Narylmaleimide copolymer and from 35 to 80 weight percent of certain selected polyester-based elastomeric thermoplastic polyurethane ingredients. The resulting polymer blend compositions are especially well suited for use in the preparation of molded articles or thermoformed sheet materials intended for use in relatively low temperature environments including for, example, in various motor vehicle …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed February 22, 1991. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended February 22, 2011.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by February 22, 2013.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
