Abstract From the Canadian patent

There is provided a galvanized steel sheet with high press formability, which has an inorganic compound on a metallic galvanized layer thereof. The galvanized steel sheet according to the present invention is manufactured by bringing a plating surface of the galvanized steel sheet into contact with a water solution containing 0.1 wt% or more of the organic compound, and then drying the steel sheet by heating within a temperature range of 60 to 400°C. Why it's free to use

  • Filed January 9, 1991 and granted May 11, 1999. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended January 9, 2011.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by January 9, 2013.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
