The structure of a shield case for covering circuitry loaded on a hybrid substrate of an oscillator and thereby isolating the circuitry from the outside. The physical distance between the shield case and various parts of the circuitry provided on the substrate is not changed in spite of external vibrations. The wall thickness of the shield case is greater in a portion adjoining, among the parts of the oscillator parts which are, especially susceptible to the changes in the stray capacitance between the parts and the oscillator than in the other portion.

Why it's free to use
- Filed January 7, 1991 and granted February 9, 1993. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended January 7, 2011.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by January 7, 2013.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
