7301H, Abstract, Substituted 2-isopropyl-2-phenyl-5-(phenethyl amino) valeronitriles are used as immunosuppressors in a method of treatment of organ transplant rejection either alone, or concurrently with administration of cyclosporin in a synergistic manner that permits lowered dosages of cyclosporin than if cyclosporin were to be administered alone. The mechanism of action is thought to be independent of cardiovascular calcium channel blocking activity of the compounds.

Why it's free to use
- Filed December 21, 1990. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended December 21, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by December 21, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
