A bag support of the present invention will receive either a narrow spread handled bag or a wide spread handled bag. The support comprises a frame having opposing side walls and opposing end walls with the end walls being spaced from one another by a distance greater than the distance between the side walls. Each of the side walls and each of the end walls has a bag handle holder which comprises spaced apart downwardly extending lug members with a finger access opening between the lug members.
