The invention concerns a method for separating the isomers of a crown compound and making it possible to recover in particular the pure cis-syn-cis isomer from DCH 18C6. This method includes the following stages : a) dissolving in an organic solvent a mixture of the isomers of said crown compound including the cisanti-cis isomer and the cis-syn-cis isomer b) adding uranyl nitrate to the solution obtained in stage a) is sufficient quantities so that virtually all the isomers, except the cis-syn cis isomer are, precipitated in the form of complexes with the uranyl nitrate, c) separating the formed precipitate and, d) recovering the pure cis-syn-cis isomer from the solution, and, e) recovering …

Why it's free to use
- Filed December 7, 1990. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended December 7, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by December 7, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
