There is disclosed a herbicide composition in which a postemergent herbicide is activated by the inclusion of a silicone glycol adjuvant consisting essentially of (i) a silicone glycol having an average structure (see fig.I), wherein Me denotes a methyl radical and (ii) a silicone, glycol dispersant compound for component (i). When compared to similar prior art silicone glycol adjuvants not having an acetoxy terminated glycol chain, the compositions of the present invention provide enhanced rainfastness in the control of weeds, particularly velvetleaf plants.

Why it's free to use
- Filed November 1, 1990 and granted November 17, 1998. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended November 1, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 1, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
