Modified polymers based on a grafted polyester comprising: a sulphonate hydrodispersible polyester-derived core grafts consisting of copolymer patterns derived from at least one vinyl monomer and at least one unsaturated ethylene organopolysiloxane soluble in said vinyl monomer(s). Said polymers are prepared by: pre-emulsion in water of a organopolysiloxane solution in one or some vinyl monomer(s) then the emulsion obtained is added to an aqueous solution of a hydrodispersible sulphonate polyester and polymerized in the presence of a hydrosoluble or hydrodispersible activator. They may be used as coating agents.

Why it's free to use
- Filed March 2, 1990. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended March 2, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 2, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
