A combined circle power plant having a steam turbine a gas turbine, a heat recovery steam generator a deaerator, and a condenser includes a heat exchanger for controllably exchanging heat between relatively cool condensate from the condenser and relatively warm feedwater from the deaerator in order to recover additional heat from the heat recovery steam generator and, thereby, improve overall efficiency of the combined cycle power plant.

Why it's free to use
- Filed September 28, 1990 and granted September 21, 1999. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended September 28, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by September 28, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
