Abstract From the Canadian patent

F.9033, MULTI-LEVEL FIBER-OPTIC LIQUID-LEVEL SENSING SYSTEM, ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Plural sensor prisms and associated opticalfiber circuits are arrayed as a single vertical stem by which the individual prisms serve for response to each of a plurality of different liquid levels. Each prism is formed of light-transmitting plastic material which can be injection-molded to precision dimensions. The body configuration is such as to adapt to arrayed interconnection with tubular members, also of plastic and bonded at telescoping fit of each prism to the tubular member or members to which it is connected. Why it's free to use

  • Filed September 25, 1990. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended September 25, 2010.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by September 25, 2012.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
