The present invention relates to a process for preparing basic aluminum compounds having the general formula (1), A12 (OH)x Cly (SO4)zn (1) where:, n is at least equal to 1, x = 2 ? 4.0 y = 2.0 ? 3.40, z = 0 ? 0.30, and, x + y + z = 6 by means of a reaction of alumina with hydrochloric acid possibly mixed with sulfuric acid. The alumina is caused to react in alumina/acid(s) stoichiometric conditions to obtain the compounds of formula (1). Why it's free to use
- Filed January 10, 1990. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended January 10, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by January 10, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
