Abstract From the Canadian patent

A digital signal multiplexing apparatus has n (n is an arbitrary integer) multiplexing circuits (11-1n) for converting input signals from a plurality of lines into m (m is an arbitrary integer) parallel signals which are added with added bits and have a first transmission speed, a parallel-serial conversion circuit (40) for converting the m parallel signals from the n multiplexing circuits into a serial multiplexed signal by a parallel-serial conversion, and a bus (30) for connecting the n multiplexing circuits and the parallel-serial conversion circuit. The n multiplexing circuits respectively have a circuit for successively transmitting the m parallel signals to the bus using a pulse …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed January 8, 1990 and granted November 1, 1994. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended January 8, 2010.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by January 8, 2012.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
