Case 1297/B206(2), ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE PROCESS FOR PREPARING IN GAS PHASE, ELASTOMERIC COPOLYMERS OF PROPYLENE The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing in gas phase copolymers of propylene with 20 to 80% by weight of ethylene and/or 1-butene and optionally one or more C5 to C12 alpha-olefins. The catalyst used in the process is obtained by contacting a spherical MgCl2 support containing an organic electron-donor D1 free from labile hydrogen with an internal electron-donor D3 chosen from aromatic carboxylic acid esters and then with TiCl4, the support having a well-defined diameter ant a narrow particle size distribution. The process comprises in a first stage a …

Why it's free to use
- Filed August 20, 1990. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended August 20, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by August 20, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
