A signal is developed representative of mean pulmonary artery pressure (MPAP), mean pulmonary vein pressure (MPVP), mean pulmonary capillary wedge pressure (MPCWP), right ventricular systolic pressure (RVSP), right ventricular end diastolic pressure (RVEDP), or right ventricular pulse pressure (RVPP). A signal representative of fixed or varying baseline pressure is provided and if the short term current pressure differs therefrom by a predetermined value an, indication of hemodynamic compromise cardioversion, /-defibrillation is …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed July 26, 1990 and granted November 7, 2000. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended July 26, 2010.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 26, 2012.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
