Plasmids containing synthetic DNA sequences are described which are suitable for the expression of the intermediate protein of the rscu-PA (i.e. the unglycosylated protein moiety of the single chain prourokinase) in Enterobacteriaceae, especially in E.coli with expression, rates far higher than those obtainable according to the state of the art. The plasmids according to the invention are characterized in that their operons include a regulatable, optionally synthetic promotor a, Shine-Dalgarno sequence, a start codon a synthetic structural gene and, downstream of the structural gene 1 to 2 terminators. Why it's free to use
- Filed July 6, 1990 and granted May 22, 2001. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended July 6, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 6, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
