The invention relates to an input circuit for an electrical energy meter, which circuit has a current path and a voltage path, the current path being associated with a mutual conductance transformer. In order to compensate for the differentiating function of the transformer but without, introducing interferance signals the current path includes an, active filter connected as an integrator and provided with a coupling capacitance suitable for blocking low frequency signals.

Why it's free to use
- Filed June 5, 1990 and granted October 19, 1999. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended June 5, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 5, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
