An articulated device to be used for pointing satellite antennas, especially of data relay or like telecommunication satellites. It comprises at least three articulations rotatable about their respective axes coupled in pairs by arms. These rotation axes intersect at a remote virtual rotation center coinciding with the antenna's focus. The device allows pointing of an antenna by moving its reflector, while maintaining the antenna feed at its focus thus avoiding antenna radiation pattern distortion.

Why it's free to use
- Filed April 2, 1990 and granted May 24, 1994. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended April 2, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by April 2, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
