A rigid piston-type multi-cavity dispensing container for equal, simultaneous coextrusion of two or more flowable materials, such as multi-component toothpaste which, upon relative compression of the upper and lower body members, produces a single, unmixed stream of material. As the separate materials emerge from the end of the nozzle, a tapered septum acts to guide the distinct streams into a single, unmixed stream for easy application upon a toothbrush surface.

Why it's free to use
- Filed March 12, 1990 and granted December 6, 1994. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended March 12, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 12, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
