For the random connection of tracks coming together in a junction of a conveying system with push and pull operable conveying chains without return strand running in chain channels, a switch constructed as a straight prism (21) mounted in rotary manner is proposed. On its sides this prism has, different chain channel portions (23' 23"). By rotating prism (21) about, its median longitudinal axis (22) that chain channel portion is positioned in the junction, which obtains the desired connection between the chain channel of an entering and an exiting track.

Why it's free to use
- Filed February 28, 1990 and granted November 20, 2001. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended February 28, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by February 28, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
