In a disk cartridge of the invention, a lubricating polymer film as a resin in which a solid lubricant or a reinforcing material is dispersed is arranged in a case near the center hole of a disk. Since this lubricating polymer film is hardly abraded even with a disk whose number of revolutions per unit time is high almost no, dust is generated. Therefore a disk cartridge with, higher reliability can be provided.

Why it's free to use
- Filed February 23, 1990 and granted May 10, 1994. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended February 23, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by February 23, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
