A METHOD of EMBODYING CLOTHES BRUSHES, and a BRUSH OBTAINED by the IMPLEMENTATION of SUCH a METHOD, ABSTRACT of the DISCLOSURE The method is one of manufacturing clothes brushes by forming a continuous tube, enveloping the tube completely and continuously with a strip of velvet material, this being bonded with a layer of paste adhesive, and cutting the continuous velvet faced tube into discrete lengths which are then deformed plastically in an axial plane, before the adhesive has had time to set, in such a way as to produce a substantially flat profile; each length of the flat velvet-covered tube is then paired with a relative handle.

Why it's free to use
- Filed December 13, 1989. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended December 13, 2009.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by December 13, 2011.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
