Abstract From the Canadian patent

Phospholipids of 2'-deoxy-2',2'-difluoronucleosides, where the phosphorus-containing moiety is linked to the 5'-oxygen of the nucleoside are useful, antineoplastic agents. A process for improved phosphorylation of the nucleosides uses a large excess of POCl3.
