A device for manual data input into a computer system, providing entered information transmission via a long-distance two-wire communication line while retain-, ing high speed, interference immunity and reliability characteristics, comprises a conductor switching matrix with the horizontal conductors thereof connected to first multichannel delay circuit and with the vertical conductors thereof connected to second multichannel delay circuit. Contact of probe connected to power supply with the desired node of conductor switching matrix causes generation of signals at the outputs of delay circuits, with signal delay times characterizing the coordinates of the contacted node of conductor …
