Abstract From the Canadian patent

ABSTRUCT OF THE INVENTION:, A signal distinction circuit comprising a noise detector for detecting a noise included in a received signal; and a maintaining circuit for maintaining the condition of a signal outputted from a detector for detecting a discrimination signal according to a signal outputted from the noise detector so that since the noise detector and the maintaining circuit prevent the condition of a signal outputted from the distinction circuit from being changed when an interference such as a multipath interference occurs, an output corresponding to a received signal can be reliably obtained.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed November 16, 1989 and granted August 24, 1993. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended November 16, 2009.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 16, 2011.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
