Abstract of the Disclosure The process uses a vented barrel to decrease the moisture content of the ionomeric resin cover stock prior to injection molding of a golf ball cover or the formation of semi-circular cover halves The vent is located at a point on the barrel where the temperature of the melted ionomeric resin is between 400°F (204°C) and 500°F (260°C). Why it's free to use
- Filed November 15, 1989 and granted March 29, 1994. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended November 15, 2009.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 15, 2011.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
