Abstract From the Canadian patent

Process for producing a dielectric ceramic A process for producing a dielectric ceramic comprising a first heat-treating substep comprising heating said formed product up to a temperature of from 1,500 to 1,700°C at a rate of from 100 to 1,600°C/min. and thereafter maintaining the formed product at the temperature for at least one minute, and a second heat-treating substep comprising maintaining the product at a temperature of from 1,200 to 1,600°C for not less than 10 minutes. This process makes it possible to control the dielectric characteristics such as resonant frequency temperature property of a dielectric ceramic by changing only the conditions of heat treatment without changing the …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed November 15, 1989 and granted July 26, 1994. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended November 15, 2009.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 15, 2011.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
