Abstract, Breaker units for three-phases are enclosed in a common container. The breaker units and conductors connected to the ends of the breaker units are arranged on parallel straight lines that pass approximately through the vertices of an equilateral traingle. A common operational unit for driving the breaker units is accommodated outside the container on one side of the triangle. A zero-phase sequence current transformer surrounds the conductors outside the container.

Why it's free to use
- Filed November 14, 1989 and granted February 15, 1994. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended November 14, 2009.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 14, 2011.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
