In the conventional carburetion process in the internal combustion engine a mixture of air and fine gasoline droplets are produced for combustion. In this invention the gasoline is catalytically converted to small molecular light hydro carbons, methanes and methanol which are then mixed with air for combustion. The new carburation process improves internal combustion engine efficiency and greatly reduces atmospheric pollution.

Why it's free to use
- Filed November 9, 1989. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended November 9, 2009.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 9, 2011.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
