Particularly a, permeable mass of filler material or a preform has included therein at least some matrix metal powder. Moreover, an infiltration enhancer and/or an infiltration enhancer precursor and/or an infiltrating atmosphere are in communication with the filler material or a preform at least at some point, during the process which permits molten matrix metal to spontaneously infiltrate the filler material or preform. Why it's free to use
- Filed October 13, 1989 and granted January 15, 2002. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended October 13, 2009.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 13, 2011.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
