Abstract From the Canadian patent

Disclosed is a multi-phase contraceptive preparation having 22-30 dosage units. The preparation includes at least 2 phases. The first phase has 20-22 dosage units each of which contains a contraceptively effective amount of progestogen and oestrogen. The second phase has 2 to 10 dosage units, which contain only a progestogen as the active contraceptive substance.
