A 2-azetizinone derivative represented by the formula:, wherein R1 is a halogen atom an alkyl group having 1 to, 4 carbon atoms an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon, atoms or an alkoxycarbonyl group in which the alkoxy group has 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R2 is a group represented by the formula, , , or, , a pyrrolidinyl group or a tetrahydroazepinyl group and, n is an integer of from 2 to 10, and a salt thereof are disclosed. These compounds are useful as blood platelet aggregation inhibiting agent.
