Abstract From the Canadian patent

The triglycerides are 2-"canola"-1,3-didecanoyl glycerol, the compositions comprising these triglycerides are nutritional compositions for enteral or parenteral purposes and the nutritional compositions are uses as nutrients. In this manner triglycerides are provided which when use for nutrition exhibits an improved bioavailability in regard to naturally occurring triglycerides containing canola oil acids.
