A magnetic core made of an Fe-base soft magnetic alloy consisting essentially of Fe, cpu and M wherein M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of nab, W, Ata, Zr, Hf, Ti and mao, at least 50% of the alloy structure being occupied by fine crystalline particles and, a change ratio X of effective permeability with time of said magnetic core being 0.3 or less, where X is defined by the following formula:, X = 1 - µ b / µ a, wherein µ a is effective permeability at 1 kHz and µ b is, effective permeability at 1 kHz after heating at 100 °C for 1000 hours in the air.

Why it's free to use
- Granted October 3, 2000. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended October 3, 2017.
