Abstract From the Canadian patent

An affinity column antibody purification method using a synthetic hCG analyteanalog, insolubilized on a support material. The immobilized hCG analyte-analogs are peptide, sequences which duplicate or mimic the determinants formed by the amino acid residues of, the C-terminus peptide sequence or portions or variants thereof. The antibodies produced, according to the present invention are useful in immunoassays for hCG.
