Adhesive compositions comprising:, -- a solution of an elastomer in one or more polymerizable vinyl monomers;, -- a sulfimide;, -- a polymerization initiator constituted by an oxaziridine having the formula:, <see fig.I>, wherein R1 R2, and R3, which may be the same or different may be a hydrogen atom, an alkyl, isoalkyl cycloalkyl, or, aromatic radical having a number of carbon atoms ranging from 1 to 20; and, -- an organic or inorganic reducing agent.
