A series of compounds of Formula I which are useful in treating viral infections, their compositions and use. (see fig. 1) In Formula I B is a purine or pyrimidine base alkl, alk2 and alk3 are, chemical bonds or alkylene groups; Q is hydrogen or hydroxyll; and Rl-R4 are hydrogen or alkyl.
