An electrochemical process, in which a gaseous matter is reduced at the cathode and in which microemulsions of the water-in-oil (w/o) type are utilized as catholytes, said mocroemulsions having ionic electric transfer and matter interphase transfer capacities and in, which the oil phase consists of a perfluoropolyether having perfluoroalkyl end groups or functional end groups of the hydrophilic type, or of a perfluorocarbon said microemulsions being obtained by the use of perfluorinated surfactants, in particular of those having perfluoroalkylpolyethereal structure and/or by the use of an alcohol as a co-surfactant. * * * * * *

Why it's free to use
- Granted January 21, 1997. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended January 21, 2014.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
