Electrophoretic media based on polymers with novel structures are disclosed. In one preferred embodiment the, polymers are formed by cross-linking polymerization of N,Ndimethylacrylamide with ethyleneglycol methacrylate. In another preferred embodiment, the polymers are formed by cross-linking polymerization of N,N-dimethylacrylamide and hydroxyethylmethacrylate with N,N-dimethylbisacrylamide. - 78 -
