Abstract From the Canadian patent

The invention uses resins which are only partly soluble in oil. In particular, an ethoxylated stearyl alcohol with an HL of 15 will be used. This results in a cake with very low permeability, but which can be easily broken up by inverse flow, and with much greater temperature stability.
