This invention relates to Multilocation Video Teleconferencing which can be used with the SKYNET? satellite communication services. The system allows a conference director to teleconference with people in any one of several conference rooms on a dynamic basis. In a multilocation video teleconference, the conference director determines which one of the rooms should be seen by all of the remaining rooms. The network performs dynamic switching to bring the new video signals to all rooms. This switching occurs, very quickly after issue of the commands by the director.
