Abstract From the Canadian patent

Holding arrangements (20) are fixed to a circulating tension member (16). One saddle-shaped support (12) is arranged on each holding arrangement (20). The walls (42, 44) on these supports (12) in, the area of the effective conveying stretch define, pocket-shaped receiving parts (46). The printery products (14) fed by a first feed conveyor (22) are each fed into a receiving part (46) and opened by an opening device so that the printery product (14') fed by a second feed conveyor (22') can be inserted into the first opened printery product (14).
